Reborn

01 What it is

Reborn is a 16-pad sampler plug-in dressed like studio hardware: milled graphite and a phosphor-green CRT. Drop in any sound. It detects the root, locks the loop on zero crossings and cuts the transients into 16 slices you can play straight away.

02 In use

Load a break or a bassline and play it one-shot, MPC style, with choke on re-trigger. In kit mode each pad holds a different sound.

03 Under the hood

A real-time polyphonic engine, a multimode filter (LP/HP/BP/NT) with resonance, drive and envelope, an amp ADSR and a seven-unit effects chain. Four PERFORM macros (Warmth, Bite, Motion, Space) and an XY pad shape the sound in one move.
